Condolence & Memory Journal

Things that I think about Uncle Gene

Uncle Gene is a man who was Serene
Inquisitive, Compassionate, and never mean
He Cherished and Loved his Family and Friends
but none like his Beautiful wife Marianne
They brought with Love 5 Lively Kids
and they, in turn, brought 19 Great + Grand-Kids
His Smile is Hopeful, his Wit isn't dull
If you'd ask him, he'd surely say that Life is Full
His Love for Music, and Piano and Song
Keeps me Confidently Inspired to Go Long
Along with his Brothers, they've taught me to Care,
to Love, to Be Kind and Don't Despair
He's Showed me that with Tolerance, Concern, and an Open Heart
The World is your Oyster, Just Pull it Apart
I'll Think of you Often and Always with a Smile
Just like when We Met when I was a Child.

Rest In Peace Uncle Gene

To Susan and the Smyth Family
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find comfort in your memories of Eugene. I once read that when a loved one passes they may be physically gone by they will always live on in your heart. And Eugene's legacy is his family and you will have to carry on for him.
